Integrated security systems are the complex of included technical security equipment and intended to build security subsystems; access control subsystems, CCTV subsystems; warning system. Hardware and software devices which have technical, informative, program and operational compatibility, provide not only to reduce the cost of facility equipment but to obtain new functions related to operational support of subsystems and components of integrated system.

It is intended to build alarm boundaries and local protected zones on unequipped flat, wooded and rugged terrain promptly.

Alarm complexes of technical security equipment are the complexes of joint operating technical security equipment installed on protected facility and united by the system of engineering networks and communications. The complexes include: data acquisition and processing devices, detectors based on different physical principles, power supply units, warning devices.

Data acquisition and processing device is intended to collect, display and store the information about the status of detectors

It provides for the building protected boundaries at perimeters of facilities along fences, on the ground surface or in the ground.

It generates a longitudinal-volumetric detection zone at sectors of protected boundaries.

The detector “Gazon-24” is intended to be used at long security boundary sectors to protect perimeters, including difficult terrain and boundary configuration, tops of perimeter fences.

Infrared multi-beam detector is intented to provide blocking of lengthy perimeter sectors of facilities, gate and wickets, window openings of buildings and structures.

Electromechanical locks are intended for installation from inside of the protected area on wooden and metal gates.

One of the most important elements of alarm complexes is the power supply units, the reliability, structure and effeciency that determines many parameters of the equipment. Various types of power supply units and systems are proposed that take into consideration the specifics of technical security equipment operation.

Currently State Corporation “Rosatom” is cooperating with many foreign countries (China, India, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Bolivia, Egypt, etc.), interested in developing their own nuclear industry, on building nuclear facilities (NPPs, centers of nuclear science and technology).

According to the Convention of the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material and Nuclear Facilities, the State, which uses nuclear power, is responsible for building, introduction and maintenance of physical protection regime applicable to the nuclear facility. However, if the required competence in matters of designing and building such physical protection systems is unavailable, the State may seek assistance from countries that have such competencies. In order to provide proposals for the interested States, NIKIRET has developed Business Line Product Strategy "Physical Protection System for Foreign Nuclear Facilities", approved and accepted for implementation by Council for Development and Globalization of State Corporation "Rosatom".

Following this Product Strategy NIKIRET has developed an appropriate basic industry proposal, which includes preparing the documents related to physical protection of specific facilities as well as delivery, construction and commissioning of Engineering and Technical Physical Protection Equipment for Nuclear Facilities.

When preparing basic industry proposal in close cooperation with other members for this line of business of State Corporation “Rosatom”, NIKIRET has developed Engineering and Technical Physical Protection Equipment Complex (ETPPEC) of maximum industry specification package, which meets the latest technical requirements for protection of nuclear facilities and includes all equipment necessary to provide efficient physical protection of the facility on a turnkey basis.

At the moment industry proving ground is created, where it will be possible to demonstrate capabilities of physical protection systems for nuclear facilities.
